On the morning of my coronary heart bypass I was very relaxed,very happy ,I did not worry about the surgery as I knew I would be in good hands. The surgery was explained to me and the care I received throughout my stay in hospital was excellent. Mr. Briffa comes across as very quiet but very relaxed and proffessional. He has given me a better quality of life a new beginning for which I can't thank him enough. I would say to a patient awaiting surgery with Mr.N.Briffa,try not to worry you are in safe hands and I reccomend this surgeon .He saved my life what can be more precious . I can't believe I have had major heart surgery, After five days I was allowed home.It's marvellous.THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH Mr.Briffa

I consider I had excellant care under Mr Briffa. He explained the procedure to me in a language I understood and made me feel confident to have the operation. I was unfortunate to contract an infection in the days after the op and Mr Briffa kept intouch the whole time and gave me much needed assurance that I would make a full recovery.He always assured me and my family that the by pass surgery went well which has now proved to be correct. He was also very kind to my family and helped us all immensely at this difficult time. After 6 weeks he discharged me and I feel fine.

At all stages of my mother's care she was treated with respect and consideration. All aspects of her treatment were discussed with her so that she was aware of the risks but also the benefits of surgery. Aftercare was second to none and this I believe has aided her full recovery. As relatives time was freely given to explain the suituation fully with offers of further explanations, st any time, should we need it.

Mr Briffa treated me with dignity, respect and kindness. He did much to allay my fears and anxiety about having surgery, explaining things very clearly. I have since told him that for the time that my life was in his hands, it was in the very best of hands.
